In Feng Shui, the rabbit is seen as a symbol of wisdom and acumen. Its image is often associated with the moon, which in turn represents wealth and abundance.

The ability of rabbits to attract wealth and luck is inextricably linked to their reproductive power. Rabbits are known for their strong fertility, which symbolizes vitality and prosperity. In Feng Shui, these qualities are seen as representing the growth and accumulation of wealth.

In Feng Shui, the rabbit is a powerful and positive symbol, often associated with a variety of good meanings. Here are some of the most prominent ones:

  • Good Fortune and Luck: The rabbit is widely considered one of the luckiest animals in the Chinese zodiac. It's believed to bring prosperity, good fortune, and success.

  • Wisdom and Acumen: Rabbits are seen as intelligent and quick-witted, symbolizing a sharp mind and the ability to navigate challenges with grace and cunning.

  • Abundance and Longevity: Associated with the moon, the rabbit is a symbol of wealth and fertility. Its image can be used to attract abundance and a long, prosperous life.

  • Peace and Harmony: With their gentle and calm nature, rabbits represent peace, diplomacy, and a tranquil environment. They are thought to help smooth over conflicts and create a harmonious atmosphere.

  • Family Unity: The rabbit is also a symbol of family unity and is often used to foster stronger bonds and a nurturing environment in the home.

Did you know that in Feng Shui, to capture this financial energy, we need a "wealth vault" (財庫) to store and cultivate it? Just like building a house requires time and the right methods, expanding your wealth vault does as well. This is where small rabbit-themed talismans come in. They act as a temporary wealth vault, helping us store this financial energy until our true wealth vault is ready.

What is Hetian Jade?

Hetian Jade (also spelled Hotan Jade or Khotan Jade) is one of the most famous and highly valued types of jade in China. It is a type of nephrite jade, known for its fine texture, durability, and deep cultural significance. It comes mainly from the Kunlun Mountains in southern Xinjiang, China, especially near the Hetian (Hotan) region, hence the name.

Common Color Types:

  1. White Jade (Bai Yu) – Highly prized, especially the creamy-white "mutton-fat jade"

  2. Green Jade (Qing Yu) – Ranges from grayish to dark green

  3. Black Jade (Mo Yu) – Often used for carvings, looks black or very dark green

  4. Yellow Jade (Huang Yu) – Rare and beautiful, natural yellow tones

  5. Sugar Jade (Tang Yu) – Brownish skin color caused by natural staining

  6. Spinach Green (or Jasper Green) – Often referred to as bi yu, a deep green nephrite

  • Used in China for over 7,000 years.

  • Symbol of virtue, nobility, and status.

  • Emperors, scholars, and nobles traditionally wore jade as a sign of power and character.

  • In Confucianism, jade represents “benevolence, wisdom, righteousness, propriety, and trust.”

How to Identify Real Hetian Jade:

  1. Look at the luster – Genuine Hetian jade has an oily, warm glow. Fake jade often looks glassy or waxy.

  2. Feel it – Real jade feels smooth, dense, and slightly warm in hand.

  3. Tap it – Real jade produces a crisp, musical sound; fakes sound dull or harsh.

  4. Examine under magnification – Real nephrite shows a fibrous interlocking texture.
