The founder of Buddhism Shakyamuni, whose surname was Gautama and Siddhartha. Sakyamuni is its ethnic name, which means neng; Muni means "benevolence", "Confucianism", "forbearance", and "ji". The combination of Shakyamuni means "benefit", "neng Confucianism", "endurance", "nengjing", etc., which means "the saint of the Sakyamuni".

  

   Shakyamuni was born in 565 BC and died in 486 BC, about the same time as Confucius in our country. He was the prince of Kapilavassi (in present-day Nepal) in northern India and belonged to the Kshatriya caste.

  

  According to Buddhist scriptures, when Shakyamuni was 29 years old, he felt the sufferings of life, old age, sickness, and death in his life. He abandoned the royal life and became a monk. At the age of 35, he made great enlightenment under the Bodhi tree, established Buddhism one by one, and then preached in the area of ​​the Ganges River in the north and central part of India. Passed away in the city of Kushinaga at the age of 80.

  

   He has many disciples, and it is rumored that there are 500 people, of which 10 are famous.
