1. Dragon Turtle
The Dragon Turtle is a mythical creature that combines the dragon and the turtle, and is believed to possess powerful spiritual energy.
The dragon is associated with reducing conflicts and attracting helpful people and beneficial relationships, while the turtle symbolizes longevity and good health. The Dragon Turtle is also traditionally used to address negative influences such as Yin energy and the Three Killings (San Sha). Most importantly, it is believed to enhance wealth luck.
When placing a Dragon Turtle, one should first determine the Xuanwu position of the home according to Feng Shui principles. In traditional Feng Shui, the arrangement is: Green Dragon in the left, White Tiger on the right, Vermilion Bird in the front, and Black Tortoise (Xuanwu) at the back. Since the Dragon Turtle possesses stabilizing and protective qualities, it is usually placed in the Xuanwu position.
The Dragon Turtle is best placed facing the main door. Facing a window is also acceptable.
Many people like to place auspicious objects inside the Dragon Turtle.

Five Element Beans
Place red beans, yellow beans, white beans, black beans, and green beans inside.

Five-Colored Stones
Use stones in red, yellow, white, black, and green colors.

Five Emperor Coins
Use genuine ancient coins from the following five dynasties:
- Shunzhi
- Kangxi
- Yongzheng
- Qianlong
- Jiaqing

Five-Colored Cord
Use cords in five colors, preferably red, yellow, white, black, and green.
Eight Round Jade Pieces or Jade Coins
The number eight symbolizes the eight directions. Jade has traditionally been regarded as a symbol of nobility and honor. As the ancient saying goes, "Jade is the most beautiful of stones." Therefore, jade is associated with wealth and prestige.

Wealth Talismans or Mantras
These are believed to enhance the Dragon Turtle's wealth-attracting power. There are many circular talismans designed specifically for this purpose.
Dragon Turtles are commonly placed in elderly family members' bedrooms or on office desks. In particular, if someone is experiencing difficulties at work, conflicts with colleagues, or lack of support from superiors, placing a Dragon Turtle on the desk is traditionally believed to attract helpful people and gain appreciation from supervisors.
Besides offices, a Dragon Turtle may also be placed in the living room to receive blessings and further enhance its auspicious effects.
2. Eagle
If your residence is surrounded by tall buildings, a decorative eagle may be placed to symbolically improve the Feng Shui situation.
The eagle's head should face outward, and its wings should not droop downward.
People born in the Year of the Rooster are traditionally advised not to display eagle ornaments.
3. Clocks
In Feng Shui, clocks are believed to have functions similar to the Bagua and Feng Shui wheel. Pendulum clocks are traditionally considered more effective because they introduce movement and vitality into a space.
Traditional placement guidelines include:
| Direction | Element | Suitable Shape | Suitable Colors |
|---|---|---|---|
| West, Northwest | Metal | Round | White, Gold |
| East, Southeast | Wood | Square | Green |
| North | Water | Round | Blue, Black |
| South | Fire | Octagonal | Red, Purple, Orange |
| Southwest, Northeast | Earth | Square | Yellow, Brown |
4. Mirrors
Mirrors are considered important Feng Shui tools. Proper placement is believed to support good fortune, while improper placement may create unfavorable effects.
Mirrors are traditionally used to address external influences such as:
- T-junction roads
- Piercing Heart Sha
- Road attacks
- Sharp corners
Convex mirrors are generally considered more effective.
However, mirrors should not face the bed, should not be placed behind sofas, and two mirrors should not directly face each other, as this is believed to create chaotic energy flow.
5. Wind Chimes
Wind chimes are traditionally used to encourage the circulation of energy.
- Wooden wind chimes are suitable for the east or south.
- Metal wind chimes are suitable for the north.
- Ceramic wind chimes are suitable for the west.
6. Crystals
Placing crystal decorations in areas lacking sufficient light is believed to be beneficial.
Crystals are thought to reflect and refract light energy, thereby helping to improve the energy of a space.
7. Grapes
Clusters of grapes symbolize abundance, harvest, wealth, and nobility.
A bunch of grapes with many fruits is traditionally regarded as a symbol of blessings, prosperity, and success in both career and life.
