Feng Shui Tips for Good Vibes

Feng Shui Tips for Good Vibes

Feng shui is more than simply rearranging the furniture in your room.

In fact, feng shui has origins in ancient Chinese principles of balance and environmental harmony.

1.COLORS

Color plays a significant role in informing our own psychology. When it comes to feng shui decorating, it's important to work intentional colors into your living room.

Feng shui living room colors may have to do with your room's energy map itself, which we discuss later on in this post. But you can also incorporate colors that automatically invite a sense of balance and flow. Such colors are often on the lighter end of the spectrum. You may begin by painting your living room walls white, for example. Your feng shui decor may include a subtle palette of smooth grays, light blues, pale yellows, and blush. The color green or blue can also signify tranquility and well-being.

Besides painting the walls themselves, you can also use these color suggestions in pillows, furniture, wall art,

2 KEEP YOUR LIVING ROOM OUT OF CLUTTER

One of the most auspicious things you can do for any room in your home, including your living room, is to remove clutter and keep it clean and dust-free so chi can flow freely.

3 Let there be light

Stimulate bright, uplifting energy with natural light and layered lighting. Energy efficient lightbulbs mimic natural light, and they'll last longer. Light is also associated with the fire element; one of five elements that should be represented in the room for harmony and balance. To improve feng shui in the living room, try to illuminate dark corners and shadows.
